Construction and woods

To enable the acoustic guitar to produce a full-range sound, a wafer-thin laminated spruce top is attached to the Lyrachord body with mid-depth arching. This produces a mid-rich tone with warm bass frequencies, making the instrument excellent for vocal accompaniment. Meanwhile, the Nato neck provides very accommodating playability across the Ovangkol fingerboard.

Hardware and design

To ensure clean intonation throughout the 643mm scale length, the 42.8mm wide nut and saddle are perfectly matched. In addition, the oil-encapsulated tuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are fixed at the other end in a bridge made of Ovangkol. The top is bordered by a fine multi-ply binding, which perfectly matches the pearloid soundhole rosette and the filigree dot inlays in the fretboard.
